innovation in a credit crunch

I am writing this to encourage the use off innovative thinking through out the whole community and hope that you are willing to look at innovation that introduced properly will not cost the S.M.A. or indeed the larger company a fortune
Lets look at what is not happing
Very few C.H.P. units providing heat power and cooling within the province
Very flittle innovative tendering allowing the S.M.A. and the community business to unite to provide gov services
No waste minimsation clubs (that i know off ) to help business reduce the waste going to landfill (reducing costs paid to councils )
Very few energy efficent homes being build
No electric vehicle stratagy within our province
All these inexpensive ideas have been thouragly researched by myself so if you want details then log in and talk to me

Everyone must have a say

Is it too much to ask that everyone has a say in the recovery off our wee country .
Where is the innovation needed to move us forward ?

Where is the support for the service models designed by those whom want to make a difference ?

Where is the new model off social security that would allow us to be part off the system not laying at home getting a handout every week ?

I thought long and hard about posting this as i am sick and tired off others telling me what i need and how they will give it t… Continue

Is training the answer to all the provinces woes

Sadly the answer for me anyway is no
£45 Million is spent on training per year in ni this will be increased to £48 million by 2011 sadly the quality and the level off training is so low that their is no chance of actually getting a job and is only used to reduce the numbers claiming benifits it also fails them in that they are returned to the benifit after the training ends

So why are we spending such a large amount off money on such poor training ?
Have the I.O.D ever been asked what training… Continue

Is social economy the way forward

As more and more people are losing their jobs is the setting up off a social economy business the way forward
if support was available and the people who have lost their jobs encouraged to set up a business within the sector they have worked in in some case for thirty years it would i belive take the edge off the credit crunch plus it would stop the humiliation felt by many forced through no fault off their own to are forced to join the dole queue

Benifits

Funding will allow people to contribu… Continue
